Hi I'm Amy, a 2D artist and illustrator from Northern Ireland, thanks for checking out my site!

 

I mainly work in 2D (either traditional or digital) although I also dabble in 3D modelling when a project calls for it. I love exploring character and narrative in my artwork, and discovering new ways to implement and vary story structure within designs as well as written form.  I graduated from Ulster University's BDes Hons Animation course in July 2018 with a 2:1 and a Diploma in Professional Practice, and am currently working as a freelance artist primarily in the N.I. Games Industry. I was nominated for the Rising Star award for 2019 from Women in Tech (primarily for initially creating a game idea called 'Stargazing' that received funding to be created by Whitepot Studios), and the Rising Star award for 2020 from N.I. Game Dev local awards.

I love stories in any form (be it games, books, or a single art piece) within a wide variety of genres, and am always working to improve and learn new skills (if you know of any neat resources I'd always love to hear about them!).

Other interests are dogs, Terry Pratchett novels, terrible puns, and trying not to kill my plants.
